In February, 2001, ReadPlay will offer a brand, new collection of true stories about real animals that hatch from eggs. Think of all the creatures that hatch from eggs: lizards, snakes, spiders, sea horses, alligators, eagles, ostriches, octopusses..or is that octopi?

Each story is available as a playkit, with a reversible, lifelike soft plush creature that turns inside out to become its own egg! Also available is an audiocassette narration, each read by a renowned musician who also records original music behind each story. Authentic animal and environmental sounds help plunge the listener into the world of each featured animal. Interactive activity pages are also included in the playkit.
