Paula, a native of Connecticut, graduated from the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford in 1993 with a BFA in Drawing/Illustration. Chessie, The Travelin' Man, an award-winning children's book, was her first book. Since illustrating Chessie, she has worked as a senior art director for several different Marketing Agencies. She is looking forward to illustrating many more children's books in the future.
