Lyn, author of Condor Magic (1997) and Freefall, A Sea Turtle Falls from the Sky (2000) lives in Marion, MA with her husband and son. She teaches poetry and creative writing workshops for elementary children nationwide and is extraordinarily engaging and enthusiastic about life. Throughout her career as a teacher, author, and editor of children's books, Lyn was written over 10 children's books. She has been recognized for her "remarkable poetry" (Booklist, 1996). Honors and awards she has received include the 1996 Parent's Choice Gold Award for Story Book, Bookseller's Pick of the Best (Spring 1996), Junior Library Guild Selection (1995), Florida Reading Association Award Nominee (1996-97), and the Children's Choice Award by the Children's Book.
