Judy Lane, author of Buster, Where Are You? (2000), lives in Bronx, New York, and collaborated with her sister Nancy to tell the delightful story of the friendship between Buster and Emma. This is Judith's first children's book, although she has written much for music theatre. She currently shares her talents and skills in music with children ages 8-14 as a teacher in the Metropolitan Opera Guild's Creating an Original Opera Program. Judith's talents keep her hard at work as a composer, librettist and lyricist. Judith received the BRIO (Bronx Recognizes It's Own) 1995 Award for playwriting.
