Kara
Lee is a professional fine artist and children's
book illustrator. She currently concentrates
her work in the area of illustrating and
writing children's picture books and has
illustrated: "Caesar: on Deaf Ears,"
1997; "Norman to the Rescue," 2000;
and "Chelsea and the New Puppy,"
scheduled for release in the Fall of 2001.
An
accomplished professional portrait painter,
Ms. Lee's portraits are in many collections
in both the United States and Europe. Her
most notable painting of President George
Bush, Generals Colin Powell and Norman Schwarzkopf
was personally selected by the President
of The United States to hang in the Bush
Presidential Library. She has taught art
to both children and adults for over seventeen
years and is a faculty member of the Montclair
Art Museum in Montclair, NJ.
